Arbourwood's Canada Day celebration returns to the village square on Wednesday, July 1 — and this year's edition is our biggest yet.

The day at a glance:

  • 11:30 a.m. — Community BBQ on the clubhouse lawn (burgers, veggie options, strawberry shortcake);
  • 1:00 p.m. — Games on the green: bocce, lawn darts, and the legendary horseshoe tournament;
  • 4:00 p.m. — Live music with The Riverside Trio on the patio stage;
  • Dusk — Fireworks over the arboretum, with the best viewing from the village square and the trail lookout.

Golf cart shuttles will run between the residential streets and the square all afternoon and evening — flag one down anywhere along the loop.

Family and grandchildren are warmly welcome. Residents planning to bring a group of six or more are asked to let the recreation desk know for BBQ planning.

Rain date: July 2. Here's to summer at Arbourwood! 🇨🇦
