The wait is over — Arbourwood's four resurfaced pickleball courts officially opened this week, complete with new nets, fresh lines, and a shaded seating pavilion for spectators and players between games.

The project also added:

  • Dedicated beginner hours every Tuesday and Thursday morning, with loaner paddles available at the recreation desk;
  • Evening lighting so play can continue into the cooler hours of summer evenings;
  • A water bottle refill station beside the pavilion.

The Pickleball Club welcomes new members of every skill level — drop by any beginner session or sign up at the recreation centre. Court bookings are available through the resident portal, with open play daily from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Thank you to the Recreation Committee and the many residents whose input shaped the final design. See you on the courts!
